Who are The Ramp Room

The Ramp Room is a centre of automotive services that hopes to cater for the needs of Porsche and Performance car enthusiasts, customers requiring professional and bespoke car storage.

Established in 2015 by its current owner/operator Barry Jones. Barry has a background in mechanical engineering, and laterally corporate management of a large manufacturing organisation, and wishing to go back to his engineering roots coupled with constantly being dissatisfied with his experience using other specialist garages he established The Ramp Room and has been tweaking its service offering and adding to its service portfolio for the last few years.

In August 2019 The Ramp Room moved to a new 1400 sq ft unit on the Springvale Industrial Estate in Cwmbran, but within easy access of Newport, Cardiff, Bristol, and the surrounding area.

As our reputation for excellent work, fair pricing, and outstanding customer service spreads we have enjoyed the patronage of customers from as far away as Sheffield, West Wales, and London.

We enjoy working on rare and unusual vehicles, often taking on work that other garages cannot or will not look at, take a look at our gallery page for examples of current work (published with the customers consent, we do not post pictures or details of cars without this).

What do our customers think?

My company Autohaus Newport uses The Ramp Room regularly when our conversion work calls for the use of a ramp. The rates are extremely reasonable and the help, knowledge, and service on hand is first rate!

On a personal note, I’ve had my car serviced, and a particularly hard to find fault cured at the Ramp Room and the knowledge and enthusiasm for my car far exceeds anything you’d find at a main dealer.
